Washington, DC – eDiscovery Staff Attorney

Hunton seeks an experienced attorney for a staff attorney position to join its Litigation Team as an eDiscovery specialist. The ideal candidate will have substantive hands-on experience in managing and coordinating large scale document collection and production and demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry-standard eDiscovery applications, methods, advanced review technologies, strategies, and best practices. The attorney should have strong problem solving and organization skills, able to design creative solutions to complex discovery problems and case assessments, familiarity with vetting and using complex technology solutions to assist with collection and analytic review of documents and data, and confidence to work directly with clients and colleagues. The attorney will also be asked to design and execute preservation and collection efforts directly with clients, negotiate discovery responses with opposing counsel, lead deposition preparation work, and assist in preparing and leading firm trainings on eDiscovery best practices. Preferred qualifications include high level experience or certification in Relativity and/or Brainspace. An attorney in this position will be benefits eligible. At the time of posting, the expected salary for this position is $120,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
