Join us on April 2, 2020 for a webinar reviewing and explaining recent guidance issued by the IRS on the Section 45Q tax credit for carbon capture and sequestration. The Section 45Q tax credit is expected to be a key economic driver in the development and deployment of carbon capture equipment and the capture, utilization and sequestration of carbon dioxide from industrial facilities. The IRS has recently released long awaited guidance addressing certain key issues affecting the tax credit. The IRS has provided guidance to help businesses determine when construction has begun on a qualified facility or on carbon capture equipment that may be eligible for the carbon capture credit. The IRS also has issued guidance creating a safe harbor structure for carbon capture partnerships that are formed bring in investors to take advantage of the tax credit.
