Partner Gary A. Abelev Earns a Spot in Intellectual Asset Management’s 2023 Edition of IAM Strategy 300

Abelev as one of “The World’s Leading IP Strategists.” This publication recognizes “those who innovatively create and action strategies which realise and amplify the worth of IP portfolios.”

IAM Strategy 300 lists individuals from entities including service providers (e.g., law firms), corporations, consultancies, research institutions, and universities. Honorees are identified through a process that requires at least three separate nominations from different organizations, as well as research that shows individuals “to have exceptional skill sets, as well as profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value.”

Based in New York, Abelev represents domestic and foreign clients in patent portfolio management and procurement, patent litigation, contentious and non-contentious proceedings before governmental agencies (e.g., the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)), due-diligence studies, negotiations, and licensing matters, including related to business methods and designs.
