Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Atlanta Office Participates in 25th Annual Atlanta Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival

Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Atlanta office participated in the 25th Annual Atlanta Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday, September 10, 2022. The festival took place at the Lake Lanier Rowing Club, which is the same venue that hosted the 1996 Summer Olympic Games Rowing and Paddling events. Proceeds from the festival benefited several non-profit organizations, including the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Georgia Tech Chinese Student Association, Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and the North Georgia Community Food Bank.

Several members of the firm’s Atlanta office came together to form a Dragon Boat racing team where they participated in three 200 meter races. Race team included office managing partner Douglas Selby, Shaney Lokken, Laura Wagner, Anthony Scott, Chris Noyes, Lisa Worley and Katie Ormes, along with their family members. Rachel Hudgins was also in attendance cheering for the race team.
