Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents the Remarketing Agent on The United Illuminating Company’s Tax-Exempt Bond Offering
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as counsel to the remarketing agent for the remarketing of $64.46 million aggregate principal amount of Business Finance Authority of the State of New Hampshire Pollution Control Refunding Revenue Bonds (The United Illuminating Company Project – 2003 Series A).
The United Illuminating Company (“UI”) is a regulated operating electric public utility established in 1899. UI is engaged principally in the purchase, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity for residential, commercial and industrial purposes. UI serves approximately 342,300 customers as of June 30, 2023 in its service territory of approximately 335 square miles in southwestern Connecticut.
