Hunton Andrews Kurth Supports City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industry Council’s Spirit of Life^® Celebration

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to support the 2023 City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industry Council’s Spirit of Life^® Celebration. City of Hope is a one-of-a-kind, 100-plus-year-old, National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center.

The 2023 Spirit of Life^® award was presented to CBRE’s Val Achtemeier, Darla Longo, and Barbara Perrier at the celebration, which took place September 14, 2023. The award is presented to industry leaders who exemplify the ideals and values that have guided City of Hope for a century, and whose professional and humanitarian accomplishments are worthy of celebration.

Since 1996, the Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industry Council has raised nearly $26 million to benefit groundbreaking research at City of Hope. The annual Spirit of Life celebration held each fall is the center of the LARE fundraising initiative, providing the industry with an opportunity to celebrate important work they’ve done in the fight against cancer and diabetes.
