Hunton & Williams LLP advised Merchant Capital, L.L.C. as remarketing agent for the remarketing of $120,000,000 principal amount of Pollution Control Revenue Bonds (Alabama Power Company Barry Plant Project), Series 2008.

Alabama Power Company ("Alabama Power") provides electricity supply and service to 1.4 million homes, businesses and industries in the southern two-thirds of Alabama. It is one of four US utilities operated by The Southern Company, one of the nation's largest producers of electricity. Alabama Power is the second largest subsidiary of The Southern Company, serving homes, businesses and industries in the southern two-thirds of Alabama. More than 78,000 miles of power lines carry electricity to customers throughout 44,500 square miles.
