Lisa Sotto speaks with Bloomberg Law on the effect that the potential departure of Acting Federal Trade Commission Chairman Maureen Ohlhausen will have on the FTC’s focus on privacy and data security. Lisa notes that, “The turnover in leadership in the Commission likely means there will be less privacy expertise at the commissioner level.” She concludes, “It does not mean, however, that there is less commitment at the staff level to pursuing privacy and data security issues.”
