Garrett advises and defends clients across industries, with a focus on environmental and energy related matters. Garrett’s prior experience serving as Special Advisor for Oversight at US EPA Headquarters and as Counsel for Oversight and Investigations on the US House of Representatives’ Committee on Natural Resources contributes to his skill in advocating for clients on key issues before Congress, the White House, and federal agencies.

  • Represents chemical manufacturing companies in Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act defense from EPA and various States.
  • Represented a national supplier of automobile parts in Clean Air Act mobile enforcement defense.
  • Advised private capital groups during the consideration of environmental and energy-related acquisition of companies.
