Overview
Jimmy is a member of the firm’s corporate team and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters. Jimmy represents public and private companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. He also assists clients with corporate governance matters in a variety of industries including technology and telecom, energy, financial services, real estate, and healthcare.
In addition, Jimmy has an active pro bono practice assisting non-partisan groups lobbying on behalf of veteran causes.
Before practicing law, Jimmy was a commissioned officer in the United States Army for eight years who commanded tank and reconnaissance units overseas in Poland, Bulgaria, and Kosovo. He also served as a military legislative assistant to US Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and as an operations manager for Acrisure Capital Management, a startup quantitative hedge fund using AI algorithms to achieve returns for investors.

- Represented energy forecasting corporation in its acquisition by a large private equity firm.
- Represented real estate investment trusts in mergers, assets sales, and other strategic transactions.
- Advised a real estate investment client in connection with shareholder activism matters.
- Lobbied members of the US Congress to support the Operation DUSTOFF Congressional Gold Medal Act and represented the National DUSTOFF Association on a pro bono basis.
