Overview

Mike is a member of the firm’s corporate, securities and government investigations practice. He represents clients in securities class actions, derivative suits, mergers and acquisition litigation, and SEC, DOJ, PCAOB, and state board of accounting investigations. He also advises clients on state and local government issues, including those related to Virginia's Conflict of Interest Acts and constitutional law questions that arise in the context of municipal bond offerings.

Additionally, Mike provides support to our accounting firm M&A practice, advising both private equity sponsors and sell-side accounting firms in connection with investments in nonattest business services.
