Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is seeking a talented 3^rd to 7^th year associate to join its nationally recognized Real Estate practice in New York. This is a partnership-track opportunity for an attorney looking to take on meaningful responsibility, work alongside leading real estate lawyers and clients, and build a long-term career within a premier national platform.

Our Real Estate practice is a core strength of the firm and one of Hunton’s five key industry sectors. With more than 80 real estate attorneys across eight offices, our team handles some of the country’s most significant and innovative transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, development projects, and joint ventures.

New York associates work on high-value, market-leading transactions in New York and across the country, with direct exposure to clients, senior lawyers and all stages of complex deals. Our lawyers are trusted with meaningful responsibility early in their careers and can develop a broad and sophisticated real estate practice.

The work is as diverse as it is high-profile. Recent matters across the broader Real Estate industry group have included major portfolio acquisitions, the redevelopment of entire city blocks, and innovative debt restructurings. You will be part of a multidisciplinary Real Estate industry group of more than 200 lawyers nationwide.

We are seeking candidates with 3–7 years of substantive real estate experience who are intellectually curious, driven and eager to take their practice to the next level. New York Bar license is preferred, and in any event required within one year of joining the firm.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong academic credentials.
• Meaningful experience with commercial real estate transactions.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• New York Bar admission is preferred and, if not already admitted, will be required within one year of joining the firm.

At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position is $235,000 to $365,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certification, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
