Executive Compensation Academy — Solving for the Tug-of-War Between Deferred Taxation and Long-Term Capital Gains
Solving for the Tug-of-War Between Deferred Taxation and Long-Term Capital Gains
Thursday, March 10, 2022
10:00–11:00 am CT
11:00 am–12:00 pm ET
Maximizing incentive compensation involves an analysis of risk and reward. Analyzing risk raises questions like: “will the stock value increase?”, and “will I remain employed through the term?”. Analyzing reward raises questions of whether appreciation will be captured at long-term capital gains rates. Sounds easy enough, but these concepts are complex when trying to frame the parameters of your incentive. The purpose of this webinar is to discuss different factual scenarios and how various incentive programs fit each scenario.
