Steam plant closure delayed for legal review

PostCrescent

A decision to close the Menasha Utilities steam plant has been temporarily postponed after the City of Menasha, Wisconsin turned to Hunton & Williams for help in negotiations with holders of $24 million of steam revenue bonds. Andrew Kintzinger believes there's a very good chance of reaching an agreement with bondholders by Sept. 1 when the notes come due, saying there are different strategies that will ultimately lead to recovery by the city and restored bond ratings.

Kintzinger's practice focuses on federal securities and tax laws applicable to municipal bonds.
