Andrews Kurth Announces New Leadership for Firmwide Associate Recruiting
(HOUSTON, TX)—Andrews Kurth LLP announced today that Houston partner Tammy Brennig will assume leadership of firmwide vertical and lateral associate recruiting efforts. Houston partner Jason Peters will assume the role of Houston Office Hiring Partner.

In her legal practice, Ms. Brennig, formerly the Houston Office Hiring Partner, handles a broad range of financing, commercial real estate, project finance, derivative and telecommunications transactions. She has significant experience representing servicers of commercial mortgage loans in the servicing-related aspects of structured finance transactions. Ms. Brennig received her J.D., cum laude, in 1992 from South Texas College of Law and her B.B.A., magna cum laude, from Lamar University in 1990.
Mr. Peters has a diverse transactional practice that focuses on the acquisition and sale of private companies, finance and real estate. He has represented buyers and sellers of private companies in numerous industries, including metals, alloys, pulp and paper, packaging, wood products, construction, renewable energy, trading and distribution and restaurants. Mr. Peters received his J.D. in 1996, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was Notes and Comment Editor of University of Houston Law Review and his B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1993.
