(Houston, TX)—Andrews Kurth LLP announced today the election of Sarah Kittleman and William J. Moore to the partnership. They will assume their new positions on January 1, 2015.

Sarah’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial real estate and banking/finance transactions. She offers comprehensive counsel on the acquisition and disposition of both raw land and income producing properties and the development of office, retail, industrial, multifamily and healthcare projects. Sarah’s banking and finance experience includes the representation of lending institutions, equity investors, sponsors and project companies in a variety of financing arrangements, including credit facilities secured by commercial real estate, oil and gas assets and other commercial assets. She is also a trusted advisor of lending institutions in the administration of non-judicial foreclosure proceedings. Recent transactions include the representation of a publicly-traded midstream energy company in connection with a $500 million credit facility secured by assets located in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Dakota and Texas and the representation of a Houston-based developer in the acquisition, construction and financing of multiple assisted living facilities. Sarah graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2005 and received her bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002.

William J. Moore | Dallas

Will is a trial lawyer who prides himself on exceptional service, results and efficiency. He maintains a diverse complex commercial litigation practice that has allowed him to represent publicly-traded and privately-held companies, investor funds and high net worth individuals as plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of business lawsuits. With particularized experience in the energy/oil and gas, real estate, financial services and telecommunications industries, Will counsels clients in areas such as services and product contract disputes, fiduciary duties and trade secrets, business torts, employment disputes, commercial banking/mortgage lending, securities litigation and consumer finance. In the past year, Will has obtained a $2.8 million jury verdict for an international alternative investment firm along with a take-nothing verdict on counterclaims, a $4 million summary judgment on fraud claims asserted on behalf of a real estate partnership, and the favorable settlement of a dispute arising out of the development of one of the nation’s largest wind power farms. Will graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2005 and received his bachelor’s degree from Birmingham-Southern College in 2002, where he was also Phi Beta Kappa.
