Andrews Kurth Represents IDB in $5 Million Loan to Banco G&T Continental El Salvador, S.A.

(Washington, DC)—On March 15, 2013, the Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”) closed on a US$5 million loan to Banco G&T Continental El Salvador S.A., a bank domiciled in the Republic of El Salvador. The proceeds of the secured loan are intended for the purpose of supporting the bank’s small- and medium-sized enterprise loan portfolio and to increase its lending portfolio to women operated enterprises in El Salvador. The U.S. based firm of Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB on the financing.
