Appalachian Power Company $650 Million Senior Notes Offering

Hunton & Williams LLP advised underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Appalachian Power Company (“APCo”) of $650 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2025 and 2045.

APCo is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc. , a public utility holding company. APCo is engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 959,000 retail customers in the southwestern portion of Virginia and southern West Virginia, and in supplying and marketing electric power at wholesale to other electric utility companies, municipalities and other market participants.
