Climate change lawyer Tauna Szymanski agreed it makes sense from an enforcement and market perspective to assign carbon market oversight responsibility to a single regulator, whether that be the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Szymanski focuses her practice on U.S., EU and global emissions trading, greenhouse gas emission reduction and renewable energy project development and related policy and regulatory analysis and advice.
