Energy Team Represents Stifel, Nicolaus in $80M Tax-exempt Bond Remarketing for Alabama Power Company
Hunton & Williams LLP advised Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, as remarketing agent for the remarketing of $80,000,000 Pollution Control Revenue Bonds (Alabama Power Company Barry Plant Project), Series 2007-C. The bonds were originally issued by The Industrial Development Board of the City of Mobile, Alabama, and the proceeds were loaned to Alabama Power Company to finance a portion of the costs of the acquisition, construction, equipping and sale to Alabama Power of pollution control and environmental improvement facilities at the James M. Barry Electric Generating Plant, located near the City of Mobile.
