Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partners Jane Hinton and Johanna Orleski were recognized as 2026 Women of Influence by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum. Hinton was honored in the CRE Legal Counsel category, and Orleski was named a Rising Star. This annual list, spanning the entire commercial real estate spectrum, “shines a light on the individuals that have personally impacted the market and significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes.”
Hinton brings a broad range of experience to commercial real estate and finance transactions, representing investors, financial institutions, investment funds, and other clients in single-asset and portfolio transactions nationally. She focuses on highly structured debt and equity real estate transactions while also maintaining a nationwide diversified real estate practice. Hinton is also leader of the California real estate team and acts as the Los Angeles office hiring partner with responsibility for the summer associate program for the office.
Based in the Richmond office, Orleski focuses her practice on advising clients across a range of industries on commercial real estate transactions. She has significant experience representing borrowers, owners, investors, developers, and lenders with a wide array of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction, joint ventures, and financing across asset classes. She has extensive experience in mixed use and multifamily development, acquisition and financing, including financing with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Orleski has represented several public and quasi-governmental entities, including localities, economic development authorities and colleges and universities with their real estate development projects. She also regularly advises landlords and tenants on leasing matters. Orleski has an active pro bono practice and proudly supports local nonprofits in real estate leasing, acquisition, and financing matters.
