Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as counsel to the remarketing agent for the remarketing of (i) $54.375 million aggregate principal amount of West Virginia Economic Development Authority Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Revenue Bonds (Appalachian Power Company – Amos Project), Series 2009A and (ii) $50 million aggregate principal amount of West Virginia Economic Development Authority Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Revenue Bonds (Appalachian Power Company – Amos Project), Series 2009B.

Appalachian Power Company (APCo) is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company (AEP) and is part of AEP’s integrated utility system. APCo is engaged in generating, purchasing, transmitting, distributing and selling electricity in Virginia and West Virginia.
