Hunton Advises on CoreX’s $180M Ivory Coast Nickel Financing

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP represented Polynickel West Africa B.V, a subsidiary of CoreX Holding, in connection with the US$180 million long-term take-out financing provided by a syndicate of international lenders for its acquisition of a majority stake in Ivory Coast nickel miner, Compagnie Minière Du Bafing SA (CMB). CMB operates one of the world’s largest nickel laterite deposits.

The Hunton team advising CoreX was led by partner Ayesha Waheed with support from associate Feyi Olufon and associate Alex Cunningham.
