Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Ohio Power Company (OPCo) of $350 million aggregate principal amount of 2.60% Senior Notes, Series P, due 2030.
OPCo is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company. OPCo is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 1.5 million retail customers in Ohio.
The Hunton Andrews Kurth team included Bud Ellis, Steven Friend, Michelle G. Chan and Mae Ji. Cary Tolley and Kimberly Nolte provided tax advice.
