Hunton Andrews Kurth Expands Labor and Employment Team with Addition of Christopher M. Pardo and Anna L. Rothschild in Boston
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher M. Pardo and Anna L. Rothschild to its national labor and employment practice. Both are based in the firm’s Boston office.
Pardo joins the firm as a partner after more than a decade at national and international law firms. He focuses his practice on the defense of complex employment cases in federal and state courts, in arbitration, and before administrative agencies. Pardo has prosecuted and defended trade secret and restrictive covenant cases, has defended wage and hour class and collective actions, and has advised clients in an array of other complex employment litigation and arbitration matters.
“Chris and Anna’s strong labor and employment experience will further broaden our team’s capabilities to serve our clients,” said Emily Burkhardt Vicente, co-chair of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s labor and employment group. “We are excited to have them join us.”
Practice co-chair Kevin J. White added: “As we continue to build upon last year’s opening of the firm’s Boston office, Chris will play a key role in the expansion of our labor and employment practice in Boston and the Northeast.”
Pardo has represented major clients in the retail, energy and technology industries. He is a graduate of Boston College and earned his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law.
Rothschild joins the firm as a senior-level associate and focuses her practice on complex employment litigation. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
Hunton Andrews Kurth’s national labor and employment practice has successfully litigated thousands of high-profile, high-risk matters in federal and state courts, before federal and state law enforcement agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations. The lawyers in the group represent clients in nearly every form of traditional and emerging labor and employment disputes concerning issues at the forefront of employment class and collective litigation trends across the country.
The firm’s labor and employment practice has been growing in recent years. The team expanded in Los Angeles last year by adding four lawyers to its already robust California practice, as well as adding former Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs Director Ondray Harris in Washington.
