Hunton Andrews Kurth Maintains Top Rankings in 2020 M&A League Tables

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that its mergers and acquisitions practice has once again ranked among the top 10 law firms in Refinitiv’s 2020 U.S. legal advisor league tables and in the top 25 of global rankings.

“We are proud that our M&A team was able to maintain its high level of deal activity, despite difficult market conditions,” said J. Haas added: “The COVID-19 pandemic created significant challenges for M&A in 2020, particularly during the second quarter, but it also created a lot of opportunities for our clients in a number of key industries. We saw a significant increase in transactions during the fourth quarter, driven by deal volume that was shifted from the first half to the second half of the year due to pandemic-related factors.”
