Hunton Partner Michael Mueller Elected Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Michael J. Mueller has been elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers by its Board of Governors. Election as a Fellow represents recognition by judges and other labor and employment practitioners – both on the plaintiffs’ side and the defense side – that an attorney is an outstanding professional who has made a sustained contribution to the field and also meets the College’s standards of integrity, professionalism and character. The induction ceremony for the Class of 2025 will be held in Denver, CO on November 15.
In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Mueller has been litigating and trying labor and employment disputes since 1987 and has published and spoken extensively on labor and employment topics, focusing on the intersection of labor and employment law with antitrust and RICO claims, as well as litigation and trial of wage-hour claims. Along with his single-plaintiff trials, he has been lead counsel in more than a dozen wage-hour cases tried to verdict that were brought as private class/collective actions or else as enforcement actions by the U.S. Secretary of Labor.
