Hunton Partner Michael Mueller Inducted as Vice President of The Academy of Florida Management Attorneys
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Michael J. Mueller has been inducted as vice president and president-elect of The Academy of Florida Management Attorneys. The nonprofit serves as a forum for the free exchange of ideas and knowledge as well as continuing education among senior members of the management labor and employment bar of the State of Florida. Mueller has served as an officer of the organization since 2024 and has been a member since 2017.
Mueller has been litigating and trying labor and employment disputes since 1987 and has published and spoken extensively on labor and employment topics, focusing on the intersection of labor and employment law with antitrust and RICO claims, as well as litigation and trial of wage-hour claims. Along with his single-plaintiff trials, he has been lead counsel in more than a dozen wage-hour cases tried to verdict that were brought as private class/collective actions or else as enforcement actions by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. In 2025, he was elected as a fellow in The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.
