Hunton Andrews Kurth Promotes Three to Counsel

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Brittany E. Buhler, David C. Hiltebrand and Jean Liang to counsel. The firm proudly recognizes these talented individuals for their accomplishments and client service.

Brittany Buhler (Corporate, Miami) focuses her practice on the telecommunications and financial services industries, with an emphasis on digital infrastructure. She advises a broad range of clients in connection with their financing, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, infrastructure projects and corporate transactional needs. Buhler received her undergraduate degree from the Northwestern University and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, magna cum laude.

David Hiltebrand (Capital Finance and Real Estate, Richmond) represents borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured commercial financings, such as term, revolving and bridge loan facilities. These loans include recapitalizations, property and company acquisition financings and lines of credit to fund business operations. Hiltebrand has also worked on several private equity funds and various pro bono cases, including reviewing cases for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project. He serves on the board of directors and multiple committees of the Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity, and was recently selected as the chairman of the Resource Development Committee for Habitat. Hiltebrand received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Jean Liang (Energy and Infrastructure, New York) focuses her practice on the development and financing of energy projects, with a particular emphasis on renewable energy assets. She represents clients in connection with development and financing of conventional and renewable energy projects across the United States as well as representing financial institutions across various renewable energy partnership flip transactions on both a single project and portfolio project basis and across a range of power generating technologies, including solar, wind and battery storage and geothermal. Liang received her law degree from the University of Melbourne and her masters of laws from New York University School of Law.
