Hunton & Williams Advises on Gulf Power Company - $13 Million Private Activity Bond Remarketing

Hunton & Williams LLP advised Barclays Capital Inc., as remarketing agent, in connection with the reoffering and sale of Mississippi Business Finance Corporation Solid Waste Disposal Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2012 (Gulf Power Company Project).

Gulf Power Company (“Gulf Power”) is a subsidiary of The Southern Company. Gulf Power is engaged in the generation and purchase of electricity and the transmission, distribution, and sale of such electricity in 71 communities in northwestern Florida, including Pensacola, Panama City, and Fort Walton Beach, as well as in rural areas.
