Hunton & Williams Advises on Southwestern Electric Power Company’s $450 million Offering of Senior Notes

Hunton & Williams LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Southwestern Electric Power Company of $450 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes, Series L, due 2048.

SWEPCo is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company. SWEPCo is engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 533,000 retail customers in northeastern and panhandle of Texas, northwestern Louisiana and western Arkansas and in supplying and marketing electric power at wholesale to other electric utility companies, municipalities, rural electric cooperatives and other market participants.
