Hunton & Williams Corporate Partner Fradyn Suárez Named Among South Florida's Most Influential Business Women
MIAMI — August 2, 2013 — Hunton & Williams LLP announces that Miami partner Fradyn Suárez has been named one of South Florida Business Journal’s Influential Business Women of 2013. The annual award program honors women in South Florida who have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a high level of performance and innovation in their respective industries, as well as meaningful community involvement. The list of only 25 women was published in a special section of the Journal on Friday, July 26.
Fradyn's legal talents and leadership, coupled with her tenacious advocacy for those in need, distinguish her among her peers," said Juan C. Enjamio, managing partner of the firm's Miami office. "We are very pleased that she has been recognized in this way."
As a partner in the corporate, project finance and Latin America practice groups, Suárez focuses on cross-border finance and investments. She regularly advises commercial and development banks and other lenders and borrowers in connection with cross-border financing transactions involving Latin America, the Caribbean and other emerging markets. This includes project finance transactions, acquisition financings, syndicated lending transactions, debt restructurings and bond offerings. Suárez also advises private equity funds and other investor clients in connection with the structuring and documentation of joint ventures and equity and debt investments in the same markets.
Suárez has served as Hunton & Williams' liaison with Kristi House, a non-profit organization in Miami dedicated to healing and eliminating child sexual abuse. She is a director at the Cuban American National Foundation, and co-founder and director of the Foundation’s University Council. She also is a member of the Women's Fund of Miami-Dade County, the Cuban American Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
