Hunton & Williams’ Family-friendly Culture

Work-family balance is important at Hunton & Williams, and on June 18, the firm proudly participated in the annual Take Your Children To Work Day. This annual event showcases several of the wonderful characteristics that help define life at Hunton & Williams: the opportunity to interact and work with highly motivated, talented people; the opportunity to continuously learn and develop; and the opportunity to help those in our community who need a little extra support. This year, the program was expanded to include children in employees’ extended families to include grandchildren, nieces, nephews or others.

The Richmond office has participated in Take Your Children To Work Day for 18 years, which includes involving the children in a service project. This year we supported First Book Greater Richmond in its mission to battle childhood illiteracy. In addition to bringing in their own gently used books for donation, the Bring Your Children To Work children made bookmarks for each donated book.
