Hunton & Williams LLP Advises Savanna in Successful Sale of Historic Downtown Manhattan Building

NEW YORK — June 11, 2013 —The real estate practice group of Hunton & Williams LLP successfully advised its client Savanna, a real estate private equity firm and asset management company, in the recent sale of 2 Rector Street to CIM Group and Kushner Companies. Laurie Grasso, real estate partner in the firm's New York office, served as lead counsel in the transaction, with assistance from Susan Saslow and Diana Smirnov. The parties did not disclose financial details or sales price of the transaction.

The 26-story office property includes approximately 466,000 square feet of rentable space and covers a full block on Rector Street in Lower Manhattan. Constructed in 1907, the structure has been preserved by the Trust for Architectural Easements.
