WASHINGTON — March 12, 2012 — Hunton & Williams LLP announces its 2012 rankings from Euromoney Legal Media group publications BenchmarkLitigation, the annual guide to the USA's leading litigation firm and lawyers, and Benchmark Appellate, which focuses exclusively on litigation at the appeals level. The firm also was named the Virginia Law Firm of the Year during the inaugural Benchmark Annual Awards-South.

Benchmark: Litigation 2012 Rankings

Nationally, Ray V. Hartwell III and Thomas G. Slater Jr. are ranked Litigation Stars.

In the District of Columbia, Hunton & Williams is "recommended" among local litigation firms. DC Litigations Stars are Ray V. Hartwell III (antitrust) and Thomas G. Slater Jr. (intellectual property). David A. Higbee and D. Bruce Hoffman, who lead the firm's global competition practice, comprise Future Stars.
