Hunton & Williams LLP Promotes Kristina Van Horn and Mark Wickersham to Counsel
NEW YORK — September 25, 2013 —Hunton & Williams LLP is pleased to announce the promotion to counsel of Kristina Van Horn, in the competition group, and Mark Wickersham, in the real estate capital markets group. The firm proudly recognizes them for their dedication and unwavering commitment to client service.
Kristina Van Horn (McLean) has been with the firm eight years, representing clients on merger review, government investigations, consumer protection, trade regulation, and private and government antitrust litigation matters. In service to her community, she is a member of the McLean office’s Community Service Committee, volunteers at her local public elementary school library, participates in pro bono wills clinics, volunteers as a Virginia Bar exam grader and has represented clients seeking guardianship of young children through the Children's Law Center.
Mark Wickersham (Richmond) joined the firm in 2007 and has built a diversified corporate and securities law practice with an emphasis on real estate capital markets. He focuses on corporate finance, public and private securities offerings (as issuers' and underwriters’ counsel), securities law compliance and other corporate matters, with a concentration on real estate investment trusts (REITs). He devotes considerable time to pro bono work, having contributed more than 150 hours each year for the last five years. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and serves as its Treasurer.
