WASHINGTON — January 27, 2014 — Hunton & Williams LLP was designated a Global Litigation Top 50 law firm by The Lawyer in its annual ranking of international law firms, released in December 2013. The Lawyer is a well-known UK-based legal publication for business lawyers and in-house counsel.

In the report, international law firms are analyzed by litigation department size, noteworthy or significant cases, and gross litigation revenue. Its research also included alternative fee arrangements, third-party funding, and legal process outsourcing. Hunton & Williams has been included in five of the six reports published.

“Hunton & Williams has successfully blended its historical tradition of providing outstanding legal services with a forward-looking strategic plan that aligns perfectly with the needs of our clients,” said Samuel A. Danon, head of the firm’s global litigation practice. “We represent many of the world’s largest corporations in their most complex litigation, and are honored to be recognized, again, for our efforts.”

The global litigation practice at Hunton & Williams comprises more than 300 lawyers who maintain the knowledge and trial experience required to help businesses and individuals identify and manage potential risks, respond to existing or threatened litigation, and pursue resolution in every available venue.
