The Lawyers

Jeff Goland (Real Estate, New York) joined the firm in 2012. His practice focuses on representing investment banks, commercial banks and other lending institutions in the origination of commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans secured by all types of real estate collateral, including office buildings, shopping centers, hotels and multifamily apartment complexes. He also represents financial institutions in acquisitions and sales of interests in commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans. Beth Alexander Whitaker (Corporate, Dallas) joined the firm in 2010. Her practice focuses on corporate transactions and securities and regulatory representation of commercial banks, bank holding companies, thrifts and other financial institutions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity offerings, and corporate finance transactions.
