Hunton & Williams Represents Brookfield Property Group in Texas BlackBerry Campus Purchase

DALLAS — March 7, 2014 — Hunton & Williams LLP advised a Brookfield Property Group fund in the acquisition of Research in Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry campus facilities, known as Riverside Commons, in the Las Colinas urban center in Irving, Texas.

Riverside Commons consists of an approximately 460,000 square foot multi-building office complex, including six mid-rise office buildings and two parking garages. The property also has a potential future development parcel. The transaction closed on March 3, 2014.
