Landry’s Inc. Recognizes Hunton Andrews Kurth as 2021 National Law Firm of the Year

Landry’s Inc. recognized Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP as its 2021 National Law Firm of the Year during the company’s Annual Leadership Conference held at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 28, 2022.

Hunton Andrews Kurth has represented Landry’s for over 20 years, representing it and its affiliates in some of the company’s most important and high-profile projects, including the acquisition of all five Golden Nugget casino locations (Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada; Lake Charles, Louisiana; Biloxi, Mississippi; and Atlantic City, New Jersey); the lease of the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas; the development of the Galveston Island Convention Center; and the purchase of the Oceanaire, Houlihan’s and The Palm restaurant chains. Most recently, the firm represented Landry’s in connection with its purchase of the waterfront entertainment and dining district known as Pier 21 in Galveston, Texas.

Based in Houston, Texas, Landry’s was founded by Tilman Fertitta. It owns and operates more than 600 restaurants, hotels, casinos and entertainment destinations in 35 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
