Privacy Law Called Almost Certain under Obama, Washington Internet Daily

On November 21, the Centre for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams LLP held a post-election breakfast press briefing to examine the future of privacy, data protection and information security policy. Results of the Centre's member survey on policy expectations for 2009 were reported by the Washington Internet Daily, which quoted Marty Abrams, Paula Bruening, Lisa Sotto and Fred Cate.
Abrams is Executive Director of the Centre; Bruening is Deputy Executive Director; Sotto is head of the privacy and information management practice and Cate is the director of the Center for Applied CyberSecurity Research at Indiana University and senior policy adviser at the centre.
