Rising Stars Awards 2020 Americas Recognizes Hunton Andrews Kurth Partner

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to share that New York partner, Brittany Bacon, was named a 2020 Rising Star in Privacy and Data Protection by Managing IP’s Rising Star Awards 2020 Americas. The awards recognizes future legal leaders in private practice who meaningfully contribute to the success of their firms and clients.

Bacon’s designation was decided by senior Euromoney Rising Stars Awards editorial staff following an extensive research process. Honorees were judged on their professional accomplishments, advocacy and influence within their specialism in 2020, as well as peer review and referee commentary.

Bacon routinely advises clients in identifying, evaluating and managing global privacy and information security risks and compliance issues, including handling catastrophic cybersecurity incidents. She helps companies design and build privacy and data security governance and accountability programs, conduct privacy impact assessments, and manage risk in connection with extensive and innovative data collection and use. She also negotiates privacy and data security provisions of complex commercial and technology-related contracts and helps companies design robust vendor management programs.
