Seramount Recognizes Hunton Andrews Kurth Among “50 Best Law Firms for Women and Diversity” for 2024

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP has been named one of the “50 Best Law Firms for Women and Diversity” for 2024 by Seramount, marking the firm’s 11th year of recognition since the list’s inception in 2007. The firm is also celebrated in the organization’s Hall of Fame, which honors firms who have been named a “Best Law Firm for Women” more than 10 times. Seramount’s annual list recognizes law firms that utilize best practices in recruiting, retaining, promoting, and developing women, minority and LGBTQ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities.

“Our Best Law Firms for Women and Diversity demonstrate unwavering commitment, despite the uncertainties in the legal field,” said Subha V. The firm has developed and implemented multiple programs that benefit our lawyers, including flexible and reduced-hours work arrangements, emergency back-up child and adult care, child care leave for both primary and non-primary caregivers, a concierge program, accommodations for new mothers transitioning back to full-time employment, gender-neutral benefits, and equal benefits offered to domestic partners and  married individuals. A strong sponsorship program and professional development curriculum offers leadership and business development training as well as mentoring and networking opportunities. 

Diversity is celebrated and reflected at every level of the firm, including leadership; diverse partners serve as the firm’s managing partner and deputy managing partner, as well as members of the firm’s Executive Committee, practice groups heads and office managing partners. Throughout the year, the firm’s D&I committee offers a number of initiatives and programs designed to support, educate, mentor, and empower lawyers and professional staff.
