Sen. Reid's Decision on Climate Bill Leaves D.C. Scrambling to Pick Up the Pieces
The New York Times
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) abandoned his effort to pass climate change legislation before the August recess. Joe Stanko, a former GOP counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee, believes that Reid will still try and reach consensus when Congress returns in September, but it won’t be easy. Stanko provides strategic planning for corporations developing environmental mission statements or undertaking long-term business planning.
