Virginia Business Names Ali Cunningham a 2025 Women In Leadership Honoree

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Alexandra B. Cunningham was recently selected as a 2025 Women in Leadership Awards recipient by Virginia Business magazine. The Women in Leadership Awards celebrate top women executives for their overall professional accomplishments, civic engagement, mentorship and breaking glass ceilings. The honorees have consistently demonstrated remarkable leadership and integrity and make an impact on their community and/or Virginia as a whole.

Cunningham is head of the firm’s Litigation practice, leading a team of over 250 attorneys in offices across the country and around the world. Before becoming team head, she served as co-head of the firm’s product liability and mass tort litigation practice group. She is a nationally recognized product liability and toxic tort lawyer, ranked by Chambers USA as Band 1 in USA-Nationwide and Virginia. Cunningham defends Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes litigation around the country. Her litigation and risk management practice focuses on product liability, toxic tort and environmental litigation, food contamination claims, and wrongful death and personal injury defense, including mass torts, class actions and multidistrict litigation. She has appeared as trial and appellate counsel in state and federal courts around the country, and has led arbitrations before the International Chamber of Commerce and American Arbitration Association.
