Virginia Lawyers Media Names Allen C. Goolsby to the 2019 Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that Allen C. Goolsby has been named to the Class of 2019 for the “Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame,” sponsored by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.

The Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame honors Virginia lawyers age 60 and older. Criteria for inclusion in the Hall include career accomplishments, contributions to the development of the law in Virginia, contributions to the bar and to the Commonwealth at large and efforts to improve the quality of justice in Virginia.

Goolsby, special counsel with Hunton Andrews Kurth, regularly represents clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities and finance matters.

The honorees will be celebrated at a reception on May 21 at the John Marshall Hotel in Richmond. Each honoree also will be profiled in a special supplement that will be distributed at the event and inserted into Virginia Lawyers Weekly in late May.
