Virginia Lawyers Weekly Names Arthur Schmalz 2023 Go To Lawyer

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Arthur Schmalz has been honored by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as one of 22 “Go To Lawyers” for business litigation in the Commonwealth.

VLW selected the honorees using six criteria, including expertise in their field, familiarity with the nuances of relevant case law, statutes and regulations, their ability to think creatively and identify all options for a client, and their demonstrated track record of success. 

For close to three decades, Schmalz has tried or litigated to completion a broad array of complex business disputes in federal and state courts and arbitration.  In addition to defending clients in commercial litigation, he also frequently brings cases on their behalf as plaintiffs, obtaining numerous large judgments, awards and settlements during the course of his career, including over $100 million between 2020 and 2022 alone.

Honorees will appear in a special section of Virginia Lawyers Weekly in the April 17^th issue.
