Hunton Advises on Puget Energy, Inc.’s $900M Notes Offerings

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as counsel to the initial purchasers in connection with Puget Energy, Inc.'s (the "Company") issuance of (i) $450 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.000% Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Junior Subordinated Notes due 2056, Series A and (ii) $450 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.250% Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Junior Subordinated Notes due 2056, Series B.

The Company is an energy services holding company incorporated in the state of Washington in 1999. Substantially all of the Company's operations are conducted through its regulated subsidiary,  Puget Sound Energy, Inc. (“PSE”), a utility company. PSE furnishes electric and natural gas service in a territory covering approximately 6,000 square miles, principally in the Puget Sound region of the state of Washington. On December 31, 2025, PSE had approximately 1.3 million electric customers and approximately 883 thousand gas customers.
