Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriter on an SEC-registered offering by NextEra Energy Capital Holdings, Inc. (NEE Capital) of (i) $400 million aggregate principal amount of Floating Rate Debentures, Series due February 25, 2022 and (ii) $400 million aggregate principal amount of 3.20% Debentures, Series due February 25, 2022. The debentures are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by NextEra Energy, Inc. (NEE), the parent company of NEE Capital.

NEE is one of the largest electric power and energy infrastructure companies in North America and a leader in the renewable energy industry. NEE has two principal businesses, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and NextEra Energy Resources, LLC (NEER). FPL is the largest electric utility in the state of Florida and one of the largest electric utilities in the U.S. NEER is the world's largest operator of wind and solar projects.
