Hunton Receives Pro Bono Recognition at Houston Bar Foundation’s 2026 Annual Luncheon
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to announce that the firm was honored with the Large Law Firm recognition at the 2026 Houston Volunteer Lawyers (HVL) Pro Bono Awards, presented by the Houston Bar Foundation. The annual awards are given to law firms, legal departments, and individuals in recognition of their outstanding pro bono work performed during 2025.
Hunton contributed more than 3,200 pro bono hours to HVL in 2025, working on matters including estate planning, divorces, guardianships, expunctions and nondisclosures of criminal records, name changes, and tax matters. The firm’s Houston office routinely participates in HVL clinics and legal lines, and in fall 2025 hosted a Pro Bono Week that introduced new associates to HVL and offered a variety of trainings on topics and matter types frequently encountered in our work with the organization.
“This recognition is a testament to the outstanding dedication and teamwork of our attorneys, paralegals, and staff members in the Houston office,” said partner Kaylan Dunn, who also serves as chair-elect of HVL. “We are incredibly grateful for our longstanding partnership with HVL and the continued opportunities it provides to enhance our local community and give back to those in need.”
Hunton is proud of its community service and leadership among law firms in the United States, where the firm’s tradition of pro bono service is well recognized. The firm encourages individual dedication to providing legal representation to those in need within our communities, whether it is through local projects or partnerships with clients. For 16 consecutive years, the firm has achieved 100% full-time U.S. lawyer participation in pro bono projects, and in the most recent fiscal year, contributed more than 48,000 pro bono hours globally.
